After weeks of getting to classes late Victoria had finally figured out how to get to class on time. She arrived to class early in fact on this fine late summer evening. She was writting on the board when her students arrived.

"Welcome Class!" she said as she finished writing, " Today's lesson is going to be a very exciting and very hot lesson. Let me just put on my sunglasses so we can begin." She placed her sunglasses over her eyes. The students looked at her with puzzled looks. "Oh Come on. Can't anyone tell me what the lesson will be about?" she said looking around the room, "I have given several hints now." A shy girl in the front row raised her hand. "The Sun?" she asked. Victoria looked at the girl. "Exactly." she said. "Now the sun is really a star. The planets, moons, other stars, asteroids, dust, basically anything with weight circle the sun in an orbit. The sun itself gives off great amounts of light. No one should EVER stare directly into the sun. You can and will go blind if you stare into it. Our sun has been alive for 4.57 billion years ago. In about 5 billion years the sun itself will start the explode. In about 1 billion years the sun's heat will become to great for life on earth to exist. But that is many many MANY years from now so we don't have to worry about it. The sun gives off energy to help plants grow. These plants grow to become food which we then eat. Or sometimes the animals will eat the plants and then we eat the animals. The sun is part of the circle of life. It helps us grow and it keeps us warm. Any questions before I dismiss you? No good. Class dismissed"
